Week notes #27
We have 2 great updates this week: The first one is a date for your calendars: we are having a community event on July 14th at 5pm UK time about the award-winning WikiHouse in Almere.
It will be recorded so you can catch up later if you can’t make it.
We will then have a break from events until September.
The second update, which some might already have heard of recently is about Skylark 200 (Skylark 200 is a thinner version of Skylark 250, 50mm thinner as the name suggests). We have been busy preparing files and if you are on LinkedIn you might have seen an update from Phil Barrett who was very happy to test the system for us by building a garden studio. He has very kindly documented the whole process so that we can learn and make adjustments before the files are made public. If you are interested in 200, we are hoping to have a release on Github towards the end of this month. The actual cutting files are pretty much ready but not the rest of the documentation, so that’s what we are working on at the moment, plus making some small improvements based on Phil’s experience. You can see a bit more here.
And for the CNC fans out there- check out this post from Three Create and their new Pegasus 1530 ATC (used to cut some of those Skylark 200 blocks I mentioned earlier). Sadly I can't find the video of it in action but that thing is fast!
