Introducing WikiHouse Skylark to S3 pupils
We are just back from an event run in partnership with the University of Edinburgh School of Engineering and the Engineering Development Trust. We had the chance to spend an afternoon in the lab with S3 pupils building Skylark 200 floor beams and then testing them. EDT is a nationwide charity with the aim of inspiring young people into STEM education. As you can see below, the kids really got into building the blocks! It was our first time introducing Skylark to young people and we had a brilliant time, we hope to do it again soon.
WikiPavilion in Milton Keynes
The last time we heard from the WikiPavilion it had moved again! The WikiPavilion was designed to be assembled and disassembled in different locations across the city. Check out this cool video from Pulp Build in its latest location, Middleton Hall shopping mall. Go visit it if you can!
