Week notes #43
Hello 2023! We are starting the year with an exciting team update..
The WikiHouse team grew this week, as Clayton welcomed a little baby born a few days ago. Things will be a bit quiet while he’s off on paternity leave but don’t forget you can see the in-progress work on version 0.2 of Skylark 250 over at Github. In the meantime we are also working to update the entire blocks library on the website as well as launching a new Engineering Guide this spring. If you have had the chance to look at the in-progress files (for 200 and 250) please let us know how you got on.
We are looking forward to our first online event of the year! Join us on 26 January for our first community event of 2023 with Juan Pablo Cardenas all the way from Chile. Details and book a free place here.
In February, Aaron will be running another hands-on introductory course to WikiHouse in Cornwall. Watch the video to learn a bit more. Tickets available via Eventbrite.
Finally, we are happy to let you know that together with the University of Edinburgh we will be talking part in the ForesTIA project in Madagascar. The project aims to improve forestry and timber engineering education, with WikiHouse being used to prototype a house made from OSB. You can follow the project progress here.
