Week notes #52
Thanks to all who joined us for our latest community event on Thursday. Missed it? We talked to Charlie Butterwick from Architecture Unknown (AU), a Manchester-based architecture practice. AU have used the WikiHouse system for projects of various sizes, including the 2nd Whalley Range Scouts Hut (pictured above). We heard how it was commissioned and how using WikiHouse allowed Scouts of all ages get involved in the assembly.
Architecture Unknown have also developed their own version of WikiHouse, and Charlie talked us through it, including a live Revit demo. Check out the full event here:
Learn about WikiHouse: online sessions
The folks at Digital Woodoo will be running online WikiHouse sessions over the next few months. They will cover theory, the build process, statistics and types of builds you can create with WikiHouse. More information and book via this link.
